Auto, homeowners, renters, condo, umbrella — we shop all of it across multiple carriers. Most of our clients bundle and save. We’ll show you the numbers.
Auto and home insurance are the foundation of most families’ coverage plan. The difference between buying them from a captive agent and buying them through us is simple: we have options. When Progressive rates better than Nationwide for your situation, we tell you. When Safeco beats Liberty Mutual on your home, we tell you that too. Bundle them, and you usually save more than either policy costs separately.
One agency, multiple carriers, and a recommendation you can act on. Here’s everything we shop for your household.
Auto InsuranceLiability, collision, comprehensive, uninsured motorist, and medical payments. We shop Nationwide, Progressive, Safeco, Pekin, and Liberty Mutual.
Homeowners InsuranceDwelling, personal property, liability, and loss of use. We make sure replacement cost — not ACV — is what’s on your policy.
Renters InsurancePersonal property, liability, and temporary living expenses. Usually less than a dollar a day.
Condo InsuranceHO-6 coverage for the interior of your unit and your personal property. Fills the gap your HOA’s master policy leaves.
Umbrella InsuranceExcess liability above your home and auto. $1 million of coverage typically runs $150–$300/year. Worth it.
ATV & Golf CartSeparate policy or endorsement for off-road vehicles used on private property or trails.
Jewelry & ValuablesScheduled personal property floater for rings, watches, cameras, and other high-value items.
Bundling DiscountsCombining auto + home on the same carrier almost always produces a meaningful discount. We run both quotes at the same time.
Straight answers to the questions Champaign County families ask us most.
It varies by carrier and coverage, but 10–25% on one or both policies is common. The real savings depends on your specific risks and which carrier is most competitive for your situation. We run both bundled and unbundled quotes side by side so you can see the actual difference.
If you have comprehensive and collision on your personal auto policy, that coverage typically extends to a rental in the same way. Liability also extends. Where most policies fall short is loss-of-use charges from the rental company — ask us about that before you need it.
Standard homeowners policies exclude flood, earthquake, and normal wear and tear. Sewer backup is excluded from most policies but can be added as an endorsement inexpensively. High-value items like jewelry often need to be scheduled separately.
An umbrella policy provides liability coverage above your auto and home limits. If you own a home, have significant assets, a teenage driver, a pool, or a trampoline — the answer is almost certainly yes. At $150–$300/year for $1 million in coverage, it’s one of the best values in insurance.
Yes. Adding a teen driver is one of the most common policy changes we handle. We’ll shop all our carriers and look for good-student discounts and driver training credits.
In less than 24 hours, I had significantly lower cost car insurance and transferred my home insurance. I was impressed with the time and care that was put into my needs. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thanks, Kristin!Mary Ware — Verified Google Review
